A big topic of discussion this past month was Publicis’ acquisition of Epsilone. The sale is the biggest agency deal in years, coming close to Dentsu Inc.’s $4.9 billion acquisition of Aegis Group in 2013 (the largest-ever acquisition of an agency company) and WPP’s $4.37 billion purchase of Young & Rubicam in 2000. The acquisition gives Publicis an arsenal of tools that could help it woo marketers, as Epsilon is equipped with a wealth of first-party data assets – something Publicis previously lacked.
When the sun is shining and the weather is sweet, the Buddha team likes to get outside and barbeque.
For National Haiku Day, we added our creativity into our own Haiku, a form of Japanese poetry that is non-rhyming and normally consists of 3 lines with a syllable pattern of 5-7-5.
