We are thinkers, dreamers, constructors and builders. We connect what we imagine with the real world of ROI and quarterly numbers and we have the creative means to get it done on time and on budget. Brand Buddha brings a practical, grounded, yet enlightened approach to everything we do. We demonstrate it through a can-do attitude, professional accountability and a Zen-like collaborative approach to finding the right strategy that will lead to success - for you and your organization. We value hard work and the human spirit. We believe steadfastly that if a path to your marketing mountaintop doesn't currently exist, we’ll create one.
Through strategic creative direction, design, imagery and digital marketing, Brand Buddha delivers effective branding, advertising and marketing initiatives to large and small brands alike.
Yes we all have very different skill sets, but we hang on each other's words and know that knowledge is deeper than what your occupation is or what you "do" for a living. We want everyone’s feedback and try to put our creative pride away whenever possible. Together we enjoy and appreciate really good ideas, but we rarely own them individually.
Comfortable on the agency side or the corporate side, Paul has owned successful creative firms as well as large, 100+ employee companies. In the early 2000s, as marketing director of a health-tech company, Paul navigated the waters of the new marketing revolution. Seeing the future of marketing spread out before him, he knew it was time to get back into the agency game. First with Saunders Integrated Marketing, Paul focused on interactive initiatives for clients and moved toward a holistic mix of traditional and digital marketing. As the realization set in that technology was a constantly changing and moving target, Paul realized that he brought more value to the technology through the branding of his client companies. So SI became Brand Buddha.
Now surrounded by the people that make sure Brand Buddha is on the cutting edge of technology, Paul acts as Creative Director and Brand Curator for numerous clients, from the pharmaceutical and healthcare world to law enforcement and DOD industries. Paul enjoys the challenge of developing, building and strengthening quality brands.
When not creating world class brands and marketing initiatives, Paul can be found looking to sea, imagining more than just navigating the rough waters of the business world, but charting a course for the Marquesas in a sturdy sailing vessel. At least sturdy enough for his wife Gina and their Mastiff Cosmo.

Rachel’s creative chops borders on ridiculous. Be it graphic design, typography, identity, illustration, photography, color theory and more, she never fails to excel at the task set before her. Moreover, her skills go well beyond “commercial” design works, with her passion for all things knit & hand-crafted. While she finds inspiration in the things she sees each day, she also finds inspiration from the people in her life. Family, friends and co-workers; these are the relationships that teach her how to feel things in a new way. From these different points of view she is able to open up her creativity to boundless places. In her photos, drawings, and the way she develops her logos… all of these pieces come together to make the finished product completely unique.
Being new to Southern California from Portland Oregon, Rachel is learning to love mid 70’s and sunshine year-round, and is now looking for new hobby to replace knitting and an endless lap full of wool.
A native to San Clemente, Lola studied English and Liberal Arts at California State University, Long Beach where she discovered a knack for the structures of writing and speaking clearly to the intended audience . After graduation, she and husband, Mark, adventured up to San Luis Obispo where Lola used her writing skills to complement her position as a Career Resource Center manager, guiding clients through career and personal discovery while teaching individuals to market themselves to prospective employers. Upon returning to San Clemente a few years later, Lola started on the “mommy track” raising her two awesome boys while continuing to develop her career in business management.
During her free time you’ll find Lola listening to poscasts, pulling weeds, and trying to make her garden grow; chasing one son around mountain bike races while trying to keep the other off gaming too much, and; doing laundry, mountains of laundry.

For more than 25 years we have not only honed our creative process, we have also learned to trust it. It's not just about "thinking outside the box"--sometimes you have to be creative "inside the box." Budgets, regulations, and deadlines can sometimes create a box we have to work within. Our creativity excels no matter the challenge.
At Brand Buddha we know that industries sometimes tend to look inward. We excel at applying practical experience from other industries to your particular marketing challenges. We have experience in many industries, including healthcare, technology, governmental (DOD and law enforcement) as well as consumer goods and leisure industries.
The only person who cares more about your project or success than the team at Brand Buddha is you, the client. We can be stubborn and hard-headed at times, but it's because when it comes right down to it, more than anything we want you to find success with our help. And frankly, we want to share in that success with you.
